Golden Sand Slots is a social mobile casino app for IOS and Android with over 500,000 users by Monarc Gaming Labs. I worked in house to create the music and sound effects for over 30 of the slot machines within the app as well as interface sounds, bangup tunes, and sound for promotional videos. All of the sound in this app had to be mono and as short as possible to keep file size down. Writing in a new genre every week really stretched my composition chops.
Whispering Willows is an indie horror game for Ouya, PC, and Mac by Nightlight Interactive. It's won several awards including the Ouya Create Game Jam prize for Most Immersive. I worked with our programmer to implement sounds and with our composer, Steve Goldshein, to create a unified sonic experience between the music and the sound effects. I designed and programmed the dynamic music system that controls the addition, removal, and syncing of music stems in reaction to game events. We had a team of testers and I was responsible for squashing audio bugs and coaching the testers on how to find and report audio issues. I was responsible for co-ordinating with and directing the voice actress for Elena, Skylar Davenport. I also took care of all other loose ends with audio of this game.

Bust N Rush is a 3D action runner from Techtonic Games. The music is a mix of hard rock and electronica with a layered, looping music system that increases the musical intensity alongside the action of the game. The sound has a ton of explosions and impacts so it uses a dynamic volume adjusting system to ensure that it's as intense as possible at all times.

Alien Hero is a 2D runner by Apptivus with a whole lot ‘o blood and gore. I proactively leveraged cutting edge fruit smashing paradigms and integrated many dog food smooshing synergies. I made a very large quantity of playdough and threw it at various surfaces to make all the disgusting human body part sounds. I composed, produced, and performed the progressive rock sound track which features real meat space guitar and bass guitar.

Block Blocks is a minimalist tower defense inspired puzzle game for android and browser featuring generative music. I used mallet percussion, chip synths, and a prepared VCR for the sounds/music.

Spinfight is a 2D vector graphics "spinner" for mobile from Techtonic Games. I created 80's synth power rock with retro 80's sound effects to match using chip synths and deliberate references to specific 80's game sound effects.

Food Should Taste Good Commercials
I was subcontracted by One Lens Media to do foley and sound design for several commercials for Food Should Taste Good. They specifically requested that no human derived sounds be used to voice the chips, so I recorded several layers of squeaky toys and auto tuned them to get tonal language-like expression.
I used a Proteus 2000 for the music to sound like a real 90's corporate promotional video.

Ambio is an ambient noise generator for android designed to block out external sounds and help users meditate, focus, and sleep. I created Beach, Sailboat, Cuddling Cats, Rain, and abstract 8 bit soundscapes for this app.
Mebop is a sound toy for toddlers and babies from Tree Betty Apps. Babies touch the screen to create and move colorful shapes that collide with each other to create randomly generated music.
Glide is a video messaging app that I created the interface sound effects for (message received, video recording started, stuff like that).
Persona by Head to Head inc
Persona is an app where people create personality profiles of their friends in a gamified environment. I created sound and music for this app to enhance the game-y aspect of it. It's no longer on the app store but here is some of the music from it.
I do everything audio related for games including sound effects, music, implementation, sound for promotional videos, and just about everything else. As far as musical style I write whatever style fits, but I tend toward electronica that’s heavily inspired by early video game music, progressive rock, 80’s pop, metal, and trance. For sound design, I create absolutely every sound that I can from scratch. I love designing synths and I love processing the living bejesus out of a sound to create something new and unreal. I’ve taught myself programming so that I can create interactive and dynamic music and sound systems. I have a BA in Recording Arts from California State University, Chico and I like bass guitar, prog rock, Sonic the Hedgehog, Minecraft, rock climbing, chicken burritos, and kitties.
